Sol is committed to natural ingredients as well as to the long-term safety and effectiveness of our products. Water base personal care products, such as Aloe and Shea body lotion require some preservative action to maintain freshness and quality at room temperature and prevent microbial growth. We use a toxic free preservative system derived from a natural source, to keep sol’s water base products completely useable and enjoyable over time.
Sol is also committed to avoid using any artificial fragrances in our products. Many major skin care products that are on the market today are using toxic and harsh chemicals that cause allergies and reactions. Sol’s products are formulated to serve people not only through skin healing but inner healing as well. Therefore, we only buy pure and natural essential oils and ingredients.
Aloe Vera – Promotes wound healing, moisturize and
soften skin. Improves the skin’s ability to hydrate itself, aids in
removal of dead skin cells and has effective penetrating ability that
helps transport healthy substances through the skin.
Cetyl Alchol - Vegetable based alcohol that is emollient and thickener.
Emulsifying Wax –
A product that is derived from a vegetable source, and is used as emollient.
Evening Primrose Oil
– This oil aids in cell restoration and contains a high percentage of
GLA (gamma-linoleic acid), a natural fatty acid that maintains healthy
skin and repairs tissue damage.
Ginger – Regulates moisture, stimulating and warm.
Grape seed Oil – A rich source of proantoyanidins, which is nourishing and moisturizing due to its high linoleum acid content.
Glycerin
– An odorless, colorless, syrupy derivative of olive oil, Glycerin is
humectants, attracting moisture to the skin. It is sweet tasting,
warming to the skin, and edible.
Hydroxymethyglycinate
An amino acid that is used as a preservative.

Lemon – Detoxifying and anti-bacterial for acne and problem skin.
Jasmine – Used for thousands of years in skin care and perfumes. It is toning
and antiseptic, it is particularly suited for dry, sensitive and sore
skin. Soothing effect.
Lavender – All purpose oil for skin care. Healing for wounds, soothing for skin diseases, anti-inflammatory and rejuvenating.
Potassium Sorbate – Mild food-grade preservative that helps restore and keep products fresh.
Caprylyl Glycol – is a preservative derived from coconuts.
Retinol (Vitamin A) –
Great for fine wrinkles and acne, retinol has been known to increase cellular turnover, thereby evening out skin tone and texture and helping to optimize skin function.
Shea Nut Oil – Known to be an anti-inflammatory that heals minor wounds and irritated skin and has anti-aging effect.
Soybean Oil – This oil has an abundant of natural anti-oxidants and is very high in unsaturated fatty acid compounds with a high vitamin E content. Superb moisturizer for smooth skin texture.
Stearic Acid –This naturally occurring acid is vegetable based, which can be derived from either palm or coconut. This rich fatty acid is an essential ingredient to many lotions and creams
Sunflower Seed Oil – High in essential fatty acids and Vitamin A,B,D,E and minerals.
Vitamin A in a stable form, which allows penetration into the skin to work as powerful antioxidants.
Vitamin C – Is believed to aid skin cells in repairing and reproducing themselves. It is also thought to stimulate production of collagen, enhancing skin smoothness and elasticity. This vitamin is excellent for skin showing signs of aging.
Wheat Germ Oil – This oil has powerful anti-oxidants, and therefore stress reducing and anti-aging in nature. Rich in vitamin E which is healing for the skin. |
